Safeguarding Policy
1. Introduction
Mini Mudders Ltd is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children participating in our activities. We operate in line with the Children Act 1989 & 2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018).
2. Our Responsibilities

Ensure all staff and volunteers undergo appropriate safeguarding training.

Conduct DBS checks for all staff and volunteers working with children.

Maintain a safe environment for all participants.

Promote a culture where safeguarding concerns are identified and reported promptly.
3. Code of Conduct
All staff and volunteers must:

Prioritise children’s safety and well-being at all times.

Treat all children with respect and dignity.

Avoid being alone with a child in a one-on-one situation unless absolutely necessary.

Follow appropriate procedures for reporting safeguarding concerns.
4. Reporting Concerns
Any safeguarding concerns should be reported to the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) immediately. The DSL will take appropriate action in line with statutory guidance.
